Despite some challenges like a scary downtown atmosphere and a need for better room ventilation, the convenience to the beach and local restaurants was a major plus.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful sleep. Blackout curtains added to the serenity, ensuring little disturbance from outside noise. the room felt tired and in need of refurbishment, especially with stained bedsheets and a shower curtain showing signs of mold. While the fridge and safety deposit box were convenient, the view was disappointing, facing abandoned buildings. Temperature control worked well, but the overall cleanliness was lacking. I appreciated the on-site parking, despite the $20 fee, making access easy. Breakfast was underwhelming, with expired options and a conspicuous staff presence.

The beach access was just a few steps away, and I loved soaking up the sun! My room had a stunning ocean view that made every morning feel like a vacation. Plus, the comfortable beds were perfect for a cozy night's sleep after an adventure-filled day!

I felt so posh being just one block from the beach and boardwalk, close to casinos and restaurants. The staff was fantastic, and the beds were like sleeping on clouds.
Who doesn't love a room without working air conditioning or a toilet? So classy!

The lack of AC in my room was unbearable. I wasn't even informed that it was out of order. It made my stay uncomfortable, and when I asked for some sort of compensation, they just shrugged it off. Disappointing!

The location was fantastic—just a couple of blocks from the boardwalk and nearby restaurants. The hotel had a lovely, quiet atmosphere, and the room was impressively clean, but the persistent smell of marijuana was a letdown. Breakfast staff were surprisingly rude, and the restaurant consistently lacked ingredients for dishes. An A/C issue compounded the discomfort, leaving us waiting too long for a solution. There were highlights, but the experience felt uneven overall.

The location was top, notch, just a stone's throw away from the lively boardwalk and casinos. The staff was friendly and prompt in addressing our needs. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had no trouble adjusting the room temperature to our liking. The valet service was efficient and added a touch of convenience to our romantic getaway.
The lack of a microwave in the room was a downside, but the maintenance team attempted to provide one. The Starbucks in the lobby was closed, which limited coffee options to in, room coffee, not everyone's favorite.

Breakfast was a joke. Paid extra, but one slice of bread counted as a full meal. Staff was unhelpful, even hostile. Clean rooms and comfortable beds saved the experience, but air conditioning consistently failed. The restaurant offered limited options. Ingredients missing from every dish. Service lacked courtesy – a disappointing shift from Marriott standards. Late cleaning services were inconvenient. Windows wouldn't open, and the air quality was stifling. I felt trapped. Inconsistent communication over my deposit was frustrating. This stay turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. Staff training is essential here. They could elevate the experience significantly, if only they’d address these fundamental issues.

I really liked that the room had ironing facilities, that came in handy to freshen up my outfits during the stay. The heating and air conditioning worked well, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. The sink and free toiletries were convenient, but I wish there were more options available. We also had an AM/FM alarm clock in the room, which helped me wake up on time for our plans. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for some evening entertainment, but the carpeted floor seemed a bit outdated and could have been cleaner. One thing that bothered me was the lack of dry cleaning services on-site. I had to go out of my way to find a place to get my clothes cleaned, which was a bit inconvenient. the absence of shops or commercial services within the hotel made it challenging to pick up any essentials I might have forgotten. The laundry facilities were adequate, but I didn't enjoy the valet parking service. It was expensive, and the staff could have been friendlier and more accommodating. A welcome drink upon arrival would have been a nice touch to start off the stay on a positive note.

Perfect base for all our activities - hitting the boardwalk and raging at Boardwalk Hall events. Shuttle took us everywhere!
Wish they had a buzzing night bar for us party animals to keep the vibe going! .

I was disappointed when the hotel insisted on payment before my arrival, even though my reservation clearly stated payment at check-in. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience for me and my family. I'll recommend this hotel.

Location was great! Just a short walk to the boardwalk and casinos. The hotel staff were friendly and responsive, making our stay enjoyable. The price was reasonable, especially compared to other options in the area.
The hotel is in need of some serious renovation. The rooms were tired and outdated, with uncomfortable full-sized beds instead of queens.

The hotel provides an easy lift to the top events at Boardwalk Hall. Guests can conveniently hop on the shuttle to explore nearby spots.
In my wife's opinion, adding a kids' play area would enhance the family experience.

hotel was very clean - staff were friendly and efficient, and the bed was firm and comfy. great location - close to everything. i learned that the hotel is a bit old - but the room was spacious and had a fridge and microwave. all 3 elevators were working, and it's a great budget option.

staying at the courtyard was a delightful experience. the room was clean, and the staff were nice. the restaurant and its staff were wonderful, and I even received a complimentary balloon and wine for my birthday, which was a nice surprise. the mandatory valet parking was convenient, and the fee of $10 was reasonable. overall, the staff were very friendly, and the decor of the hotel was fabulous. the food was delicious, and the building and location were all fine.

Our stay at the beach block hotel was a delightful surprise. Despite being low-budget travelers, we were impressed by the amenities and service provided. The free Wi-Fi kept us connected throughout our stay, and the 24-hour reception ensured that all our needs were met. The bar/lounge area was a great place to unwind after a long day exploring the city. The location was convenient, as it was close to the casinos and not far from the outlets. We also enjoyed the easy access to the beach for the Beer and Music Festival.
The lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. While the rest of the room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom could have been better maintained.
